Mike Fakih has lived in North America, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East and has worked in higher education for more than 14 years. His experiences at renowned US and French universities combine academics, admissions and enrollment, outreach and development. Mike is Senior Director of Enrollment and Admissions at Parsons Paris and Assistant Vice President for International Recruitment at The New School. Based in Paris, Mike works closely with Parsons Paris leadership on the development of the campus as a leading center for art and design education in Europe, and is part of the Enrollment Management & Strategic Partnerships team at The New School in New York City. He regularly visits schools around the world, and participates in higher education focus groups, workshops and conferences.
Previously he worked on the founding and launch of an international sustainable development forum in France and was also a journalist in the Middle East. He earned his MPA from Sciences Po in Paris and also completed an MA and BA in Political Science at Saginaw Valley State University in the United States.
Mike speaks several languages, and is passionate about travel, and meeting students, secondary school counselors and families.
